NEVE
"Sul monte Candòra viveva un mago saggio e un po' imbranato. Aveva una lunga barba incolta e una graziosa civetta di nome "Neve". Neve, bianca come il candore della neve e dalle ali luminose come il ghiaccio, era destinata, come tutte le più buone civette, a diventare la fedele compagna di un mago. Finché una notte non si imbattè sul monte una terribile tempesta… Il mago non riuscì a domarla e volò via. La tempesta non passò e avrebbe travolto l'intero bosco di Candòra. Allora la nobile Neve battè forte le sue ali e fece cadere della brina luminosa capace di proteggere qualunque cosa la coprisse. Ogni singola foglia s'illuminò con un suo battito d'ali e tutti gli alberi furono salvi. Era Natale e la notte si trasformò in uno spettacolo di luci e scintille così magico e sfavillante da far sognare per il resto dell'inverno..."

"On Mount Candòra lived a wise and little bit clumsy wizard. He had a long untidy beard and a lovely owl, called "Neve". Neve, white as the whiteness of the snow and with bright wings like the crystal ice, as all the most good owls, was intended to become the faithful companion of a magician. Until one night a terrible storm came on the mount… The wizard was unable to tame it and flew away. The storm didn't pass and would have swept the entire forest of Candòra. So the noble Neve clapped strong her wings and let drop a light frost that was able to protect everything it covered. Every single leaf brightened with a flutter of her wings and all the trees were saved. It was Christmas and the night turned into a show of lights and sparks, so magical and sparkle to let dream for the rest of the winter..."
