E' iniziato l'Avvento, 24 giorni di attesa per la vigilia di Natale! Il monte Candòra è già tutto innevato: i rami e i tetti sono bianchi…Neve e le sue piccole civette si preparano a illuminare il paesaggio di brina magica… Intanto noi, ci lasciamo sorprendere ogni giorno con una piccola golosità aspettando lo splendore natalizio!
Il Calendario dell'Avvento è un'usanza molto popolare in Germania e accompagna i piccoli fino al giorno di Natale, contando alla rovescia dal primo dicembre fino alla Vigilia. Nasce come cartoncino raffigurante 24 finestre, in ognuna delle quali si trova un cioccolatino natalizio. 
Ginger riprende questa meravigliosa tradizione ispirandosi al magico Natale bianco, luminoso e dalle sfumature azzurre di Neve e crea il Neve Calendar: 24 casette di civette bianche ricoperte di brina luminosa e candida, appese su tanti rami bianchi… L'insieme è uno spettacolo unico e dolce, che, oltre ad arredare magicamente il nostro ambiente,  diffonde in casa la voglia del Natale e unisce tutti i componenti della famiglia. Ogni mattina ci spetterà una casetta con sorpresa, ma… attenzione a non litigare per il cioccolatino!;) 
Materiali

• carta fotografica lucida e stampante
• forbice piccola
• colla Stick
• carta trasparente
• pasta neve per effetto brina 
• pennellino
• nastri blu, menta, smeraldo, azzurro (1cm x 45cm per ogni casetta)
• cioccolatini a piacere incartati
• vaso bianco
• sabbia per vaso
• rami secchi (colorati di bianco)

Il lavoro è molto semplice: 
Prepariamo prima le casette, stampando le nostre sagome. Tagliamo le sagome e ricostruiamo la casa seguendo il modello. Buchiamo il cerchio e lo foderiamo con della carta trasparente.Possiamo usare la colla per chiudere il lato, ma lasciamo che la casa si possa facilmente aprire per prendere il nostro cioccolatino. Io non uso colla. La casetta l'ho creata a misura di Macaron, ma temo che non duri 24 giorni… Così opto per dei classici cioccolatini o torroncini di Natale! Ma possiamo anche inserire dei biscotti o semplicemente delle piccole dediche personali…;)



Per i tetti, ritaglio la sagoma sempre aiutandomi con una forbice piccola da sarta, e li intaglio ai lati per inserire il nastro. Ricopro il tetto con delle pennellate di pasta neve con brillantini (si trova nei colorifici) e attendo che asciuga. Uso 4 colori di nastri, ciascuno dei quali lungo 2,70cm da dividere in 6 unità: es. nastro blu totale 1cm x 2,70cm diviso in 6 unità di 45cm. Inserisco il nastro nel tetto, che incastro sulla casetta, lo avvolgo intorno alla casa e lo chiudo con un fiocco. Per appenderla uso semplicemente del filo da cucire bianco annodato. 



Infine incolliamo le sagome di civette col numero che abbelliamo con della pasta di neve.
Delicatamente li appendo in modo omogeneo, facendo attenzione che non si pieghi troppo il ramo.
Il nostro meraviglioso albero innevato di magiche civette della neve è pronto!

The Christmas Eve countdown has begun! 24 days waiting to celebrate Christmas! Mount Candòra is already snowy : all branches and roofs are snow white... Neve and her little owls are preparing to light up the landscape with magical frost… Meanwhile, let us surprise ourselves every day with a little goody waiting for the bright Christmas!
Ginger takes up this wonderful tradition, inspired by the magical white and blue shaded Christmas of Neve and creates the Neve Calendar: 24 owl houses covered with bright  frost, hanging on many white branches... The set is unique and sweet. It magically decorates our home and it keeps together all the family,  sweetly attending for Christmas. Each morning we will open a little house with surprise, but... be careful not to argue for the chocolate!;)
Materials

• glossy photo paper and printer
• small scissors
• glue Stick
• transparent paper
• Glimmer structural snow 
• little brush
• blue, baby-blue, mint, and emerald ribbons ( 1cm x 45cm for each cottage )
• chocolates with wrap
• white pot
• sand for pot
• white cotton thread
• branches (white colored)

It is very simple to do:
We prepare before the little bird houses, printing our silhouettes. We cut the shapes and rebuild the house following the pattern. We punch the hole and line with transparent paper. We can use glue to close the side, but just leave the house open to get easily the chocolate. I do not use glue. I created the bird house for a Macaron, but I' don't think it keeps 24 days... So I opt for classic Christmas nougat chocolates! But we can also place cookies or just small personal dedications…;)

For the roof, I cutout the silhouette always helping me with a little scissors and carving them to the sides to insert the ribbon. I cover the roof with touches of snow pasta with glitter (just found in a dye factory) and I wait it dries. I use 4 colors of strips, each of them is 2.70cm long split into 6 units: ex. blue ribbon total 1cm x 2.70cm divided into 6 units of 45cm. I put the ribbon in the roof fit onto the house. I wrap it around the house and I close with a bow. To hang it I simply use knotted white cotton thread.


Finally, we glue the owls shapes. We can beautify the number with glitter.
We gently hang them evenly, taking care not to bend the branch too much.
Our wonderful snowy tree with magical snow owls is ready!
